UNESCO classifies 19 sites and monuments as World Heritage.

The "villas " and the Medici gardens in Italy , and the park Bergpark Wilhelmshohe in Germany were now classified as World Heritage by UNESCO Committee .
The World Heritage Committee , which decided on Saturday to sort the University of Coimbra , already assigned one ranking for a total of 19 monuments and sites , since it started the 37th Convention , on the 17th in Phnom Penh , Cambodia , and ending in 27th.

Today were classified doze " villas" and two Medici gardens , adopting the name of the Italian family influence in the region of Tuscany .

Built between the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries , represent " an innovative rural construction in harmony with nature and dedicated to leisure , arts and knowledge ," the Committee of UNESCO .

The Bergpark Wilhelmshà in Kassel ( Germany ) , is a park built along a hillside dominated by a statue of Hercules , with a complex hydraulic system that feeds springs and waterfalls and several monuments .

For UNESCO , the park is " the ideal of absolute monarchy " and is a " remarkable testimony to the aesthetic of the Baroque and Romantic periods ."
